Overcoming Obstacles Together
One Day, One Step At A Time
Treatments We are Providing

Physical Drug and Alcohol Detoxification is the first step to overcoming addiction. By definition, detox is the process in which you allow the body to eradicate drugs from the system. In medically assisted detox treatment at Rancho Milagro, we provide 24/7 medical monitoring and care by addressing and treating withdrawal symptoms. Detox is perhaps the most difficult, uncomfortable, and dangerous part of the recovery process.

We do not advocate for at-home detox, as detoxing from alcohol and certain drugs can be even more dangerous and harmful to your body. Our detox treatment is catered to the needs of each patient and designed with them in mind. Detoxification is no simple task and having a supportive team that prioritizes your safety will help you rise to the next level of recovery.

Residential Treatment

Residential treatment is the second step in the recovery process at Rancho Milagro after detoxification. At our beautiful, ranch-style facility, you or your loved one will receive around-the-clock care, providing access to intensive therapy when you need it most.

Drug and alcohol addiction usually affects every aspect of life, such as work, relationships, and family units. At Rancho Milagro, we can and want to help you gain the tools to determine and address the root of your addiction through group and individualized therapy. Our therapists can also work to treat co-occurring disorders like anxiety and depression during your residential stay, meaning they can help you through your diagnosis and treatment as well.

Residential treatment is a perfect opportunity to create lasting friendships and relationships with other residents and our staff. We are passionate about lasting recovery, which is why we will continue to provide you with help following residential treatment.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Once both detox and residential treatment have been completed, patients enter the third stage of treatment called Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). You will have scheduled meetings and programs to participate in at the ranch during this stage, but you will no longer be living at our facility. This stage in the recovery process allows for more freedom and more responsibility, as there is no longer 24/7 monitoring. During PHP, patients can ease back into their everyday lives while still having a solid foundation that can be built upon. At Rancho Milagro, we will help transition you towards forming healthy habits and goals needed for returning home during this critical stage of treatment.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is the fourth step in addiction treatment. The responsibilities and freedom will increase in this stage as it is the final phase before the patient will return home full-time. Choices and priorities can be made before returning to school, work, or daily duties.

During IOP, our clients will attend outside, local, AA or NA meetings and continue their regime of exercise, relaxation techniques, cooking, and other activities. Life skills as they apply to everyday life will be a major focus in this stage of treatment. More time will be made for resumé building, career coaching, and aftercare planning. We understand that returning home to face the stressors that may have triggered your addiction can be scary. IOP is an excellent opportunity for those wanting to build a healthy, achievable routine before returning home.

Outpatient Care

Outpatient care is the final and least restrictive treatment in our program. During this time, the patient will return to living at home and visit Rancho Milagro on a part-time basis for therapy and group sessions. Before this stage, case managers will help find a safe and stable environment where patients can live while still participating in their recovery responsibilities. At this point, patients will begin to return to work, school, and other daily duties.

This can be the most stressful time, as there may be more responsibilities than you have been used to in a long time, all while juggling new challenges with sobriety. That is why Rancho Milagro will still be here for you in this next stage of life by continuing to provide you with meetings and therapy to support your recovery.

12-Step Approach

A 12-Step approach is, as its title explains, an approach to beating addiction through following a 12-Step plan. At Rancho Milagro, we utilize the proven effectiveness of the 12-Step approach to addiction treatment. While in our care, you will have opportunities to participate in the many 12-Step meetings we attend to grow in your spirituality and recovery. Our weekly alumni bonfires are also 12-Step meetings hosted at our facility. Our treatment plans are customized and designed with the individual in mind. Whether or not you are interested in the 12-Step approach, we can adjust your treatment program accordingly.

Equine Therapy

The horses on our ranch are one of the most prized pieces of our treatment program. There is something incredibly majestic about horses, and forming a bond with them is rewarding and long-lasting. At Rancho Milagro Recovery, we utilize our many horses with innovative equine therapy. This kind of therapy helps encourage emotional support, trust, and communication through interactions between the client, the horse, and our equine therapist. The horse can be a bridge for communication during sessions, allowing the client to feel more open and comfortable. This proven and studied therapy technique greatly aids progression through addiction treatment, healthy communication, and emotional awareness.

Deciding to receive help for addiction is the first step of recovery. At Rancho Milagro Recovery, we are more than willing to walk with you through every step — even after you become an alumnus of our program. Give us a call today to explore our many options at (951) 526-4582.
