Arlene came to Rancho Milagro Recovery prior to the facility receiving approval to operate from the Department of Health Care Services. Arlene has a B.A. HSW, from California State College with over 30 years experience as an educator, holding positions as a College President, Dean and Allied Health Instructor . Throughout the years Arlene has written and received approvals for 37 allied health programs approved by both state governing bodies and the Department of Education. Arlene has worked as a clinician in both physical and mental health facilities including those specializing in substance abuse. For fun and relaxation, besides spending time with her children and grandchildren, Arlene paints, refinishes and refurbishes furniture, hikes and reads.
